Ace Indian Sprinter, Hima Das Bags The 200m Gold At Poznan Athletics Grand Prix In Poland

Indian sprinter Hima Das won the gold in women’s 200m race at the Star Poznan Athletics Grand Prix in Poland, clocking 23.65 seconds.

The world junior champion and national record holder in 400m, Hima had been struggling with back problem for the past few months. This was her first competitive 200m race of the year. 

Her personal best was 23.10 seconds which she clocked last year at the 58th National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships.

National record holder Tajinder Pal Singh Toor also bagged a bronze in the Shot Put at the same event.
