Indian Railways Is Roping In Sanjeev Kapoor To Prepare Menu For Food To Be Served On Trains

After inspiring Indians to cook for decades and even cooking for the Prime Minister on his visit to the UAE, celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor has now been roped in by the Indian Railways to prepare a menu that people travelling across the country will savour in the near future.

Senior Railway ministry officials revealed the offer made to the chef, who has become a household name in India. This also comes amid several steps by the railways to provide a better experience to passengers, apart from improved service.

The chef told The Indian Express that, “I won’t be able to reveal much, but yes as an Indian I’m glad to be able to help Indian Railways.” He also mentioned how good quality can be maintained at lower prices saying, “take for example gol gappas. They are tasty even though they are not expensive.”

As the Railways seem all set to serve mouth-watering delicacies to travellers, the new partnership surely sounds appetising.
