Twitter Slams Modi For Saying That Those Against Demonetisation ‘Are Like Pakistan’

In a scathing attack on Opposition for stalling Parliament over demonetisation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday alleged they were trying to “rescue the corrupt” like Pakistan gives cover fire to terrorists to cross border. He said the note ban will expose the ‘kala dhan’ (black money) as well as ‘kale mann’ (ill-intentions) of many.

“The commotion created in Parliament is like the ‘cover fire’ that Pakistan uses to ensure terrorists infiltrate into India. Similarly, the ruckus in Parliament lets cheats get away,” the PM said at an event in Varanasi.
