Most of us complain about the number of french fries we are served in various restaurants. I mean, obviously. French fries are never enough.
But according to Eric Rimm, a professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, you must not eat more than 6 french fries. Yup!
In a recent article on the New York Times, he said the potato is a ‘starch bomb’.
He is of the opinion that if you must indulge, it would be nice if your meal came with a side salad and six French fries.
Twitter obviously didn’t take this very kindly. Come on, can you blame them? It’s french fries.
Damn hungry right now!
God Damn! If only they accepted my bloody application.
Me too, mate. Me too.
Here’s the thing. He is not entirely wrong. The US agricultural department lists a serving of 12 to 15 individual potato sticks.
So let’s not go all berserk on him. He’s doing the same as Michelle Obama if you ask me; wanting us to eat healthily.
