After The Tragic Nepal Earthquake, Google Person Finder Helps You Find Your Loved Ones

Adarsh Vinay

The devastating earthquake that struck Nepal earlier today has left around 100 people dead and many more injured. But the worst part is that there are a lot of people who are still missing.

Wikipedia states that GPF p rovides a registry and message board for survivors, family, and loved ones affected by a natural disaster to post and search for information about each other’s status and whereabouts. It was created by volunteer Google engineers in response to the 2010 Haiti earthquake .

GPF has two features:

1. It helps you search for missing people.

And in case you have any relevant information about someone, there is a feature that helps you update their status and location.

In case you’re looking for a missing person, you too can avail the help of Google Person Finder .

Thank God for Google!
