Facebook’s New Update Is Just What Every Stalker Wants. Time To Tweak Your Privacy Settings

Now by logging into Facebook, you will also be able know what the world is talking about as the social networking giant has unveiled its latest feature Search FYI .

With over 1.5 billion searches per day and over 2 trillion posts in its index, search is an important, long-term effort as people turn to Facebook whenever something important happens in the world. This search option will enable people to know what the world is talking about in addition their friends and family.

With an aim to make its posts widely readable, the search option will help in the required building viral momentum on par with Twitter which is seen as a prominent news source.

But before going all gaga over the new feature, here is a word of caution. The feature will also allow random strangers to read your status updates unless you have the right privacy settings.

For all those who do not wish to bring their private posts/photos/videos into public domain, please remember to change your privacy settings from ‘Public’ to ‘Friends Only’.
