Facebook Just Added A Dating Feature ‘Secret Crush’. You Might Get Out Of The Friendzone Finally

Facebook has been connecting people ever since Mark Zuckerberg started out at Harvard. Remember when the ‘Relationship status’ was one of the most important parts of our profiles? Turns out, Zuckerberg misses the good old days, too. 

Maybe that’s why Facebook Dating has been introduced along with a new feature called ‘Secret Crush’ that will allow users to express their feelings for their crush secretly.

According to reports, users can pick upto nine of their friends on whom they have a crush. If any of those friends also pick them back, they’ll get notified that it is a match. A la Tinder, but, on Facebook.

The company first launched Facebook Dating in September 2018 in Colombia before rolling it out to Thailand, Canada, Argentina, and Mexico.

On Tuesday the company announced that it’s expanding its dating service to 14 new countries: Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Guyana, and Suriname.
