Is Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg No Longer An Atheist?

Akanksha Jagannathan

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg may have been thought to be an atheist given he rarely deals with subjects like religion and spirituality. But it seems like the business tycoon, who was raised Jewish, may be considering turning to religion once again.

On December 25, Zuckerberg posted a Christmas holiday message on  his official page on Facebook.

This is what he posted:

A user commented questioning his faith in God and asking if he was an atheist. Zuckerberg admitted that he went through a phase where he “questioned” everything, but has now realised the “importance of religion.”

However, this doesn’t clarify what religion he follows or is likely to follow in future.

This is not the first time Zuckerberg has shown an inclination towards religion and spiritualism.

Last year, he  had posted an image of himself where he was offering prayers at Wild Goose Pagoda in XI’an. He has even said that he was keen on learning more about the faith. Incidentally, the CEO’s wife, Priscilla Chan is a practicing Buddhist.
