Former British PM Edward Heath Allegedly Raped 12-Year-Old Boy In 1961

A man in England is claiming he was raped by former British Prime Minister Edward Heath in 1961. Police have urged other potential victims to come forward.

The alleged victim claims he was brandished a “liar” when he first reported the crime in the 1960s. Now aged in his 60s, the man recounts the day he went through this terrible ordeal as a 12-year-old boy.

The man claims Heath picked him up on the A2 highway in north Kent, as he was trying to hitch a lift. He was then taken to an apartment in Mayfair, London, where he was allegedly raped.

It was not until 1965 that he realised who Heath really is. ” This answered a lot of questions as to why no-one believed me about the London saga. I got called a liar and a fantasist,” he said, as reported in Sky news .

Heath was Prime Minister of UK for four years from 1970-74 for the Conservative party.

These allegation surface after the police have launched an investigation looking into whether Wiltshire Police followed up claims made against Heath in the 1990s. The police found that a criminal prosecution was not pursued when the person in question threatened to expose Heath’s offences against children.

“A retired senior police officer has come forward towards the end of 2014 indicating that they were aware of this information”, said Superintendent Sean Memory of Wiltshire Police.

Labour MP Tom Watson said he received information relating to allegations of child abuse involving Sir Edward in 2012.

“A separate claim concerning Heath was made to me subsequently,” he said.

“I passed them both to the police, who have confirmed to me that at least one of those allegations is being investigated and taken seriously.”

Heath had never been married and was always one to keep his private life under wraps. This has led many to presume that Heath was gay. One biographer concluded that he may have been a “latent or repressed homosexual”, however, another thought he was “pretty well sexless”.

Edward Heath died in his Salisbury home aged 89 in 2005.
