7.8 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Japan’s Bonin Island, No Tsunami Warning So Far

An earthquake of 7.8 magnitude hit Japan’s Bonin island on Saturday, May 30, around 5 pm, as can be seen on Earthquake track . The epicenter is 775 km away from Shimoda, Shizuoka in Japan.

No warning of a possible tsunami has been sent after the earthquake.

As per initial reports, New Delhi also felt mild tremors.
