Delhi Police Mistakes Communist Leader Kavita Krishnan For A Gau Rakshak!

SW Staff

In a major embarrassment for Delhi Police, a senior police officer sent a letter to CPI (ML-Liberation) leader Kavita Krishnan addressing her as a member of a gau rakshak dal. The letter was sent to her by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Delhi on Tuesday.

The letter was in response to Krishnan’s request for allowing her to protest outside Bikaner House near India Gate on Wednesday.

Ironically, the protest was against the recent incident of cow vigilantism in Rajasthan’s Alwar where a Muslim man in his fifties was brutally lynched by gau rakshaks.
