The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has announced its plan to open a new expressway between Delhi & Mumbai, reports Economic Times

Once the project is completed, it will be possible to drive from Delhi to Mumbai in just 12 hours. Sounds like a fantastic road trip already.

Right now, it takes 20 hours on an average, but now the travel time will be less than 12 hours, thanks to the expressway.

The project is set to be completed in four phases and the first phase has already begun. It will connect Delhi to Jaipur and Vadodara to Mumbai.
