The Delhi Metro Has Been Put On Red Alert, Security Checks To Take Longer

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) issued a red alert on its entire network, reports India Today.

This comes after Home Minister Amit Shah announced the government’s move to revoke Article 370 in Parliament.

Mid-Day

The Delhi Metro also tweeted asking the commuters to allow extra time in security checks for their own safety. 

The Union Ministry had earlier imposed Section 144 in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir, before the verdict on Article 370 was announced to the public.
