Having a big and lively heart sounds like a great idea. But what if this expression took a more realistic form? It is a sight that might just freak you out.

Cocaine and other narcotics are known to set the pulse racing, but sometimes the adrenaline refuses to wear off. In this particular case, doctors were left in a state of shock after a cocaine addict’s heart kept on beating, for exactly 25 minutes, after being removed from the body.

Normally, the human heart beats for less than a minute after being removed from the body. So this phenomenon naturally left the spectators in a tizzy.

Apart from its unusual feat, this guy’s heart was also three times larger than normal, owing to years of cocaine abuse. That’s one braveheart!
