India’s Net Neutrality brigade is going out of it’s way to warn you off Free Basics because it is — as explained by savetheinternet.in — just another move by Facebook to push Indians into a walled garden.

Facebook, in turn, gave full page advertisements with convincing, heart-felt captions on pictures that were clearly meant to emotionally appeal to all Indians. But their ads seem to have backfired thanks to Reddit user, snorlaxusedrest.
