Amit Mishra Gets Bail After Being Arrested In Bengaluru For Allegedly Assaulting Woman

Indian spinner Amit Mishra has been released on bail after being arrested by Bengaluru police. He was questioned for 3 hours. Earlier, Mishra was summoned on October 20 who is accused of assaulting a woman in a Bengaluru hotel.

The incident allegedly took place in the month of September and the complaint was registered in Ashok Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru.

He has been selected in the Test squad against South Africa scheduled in the month of November.

Mishra has played 29 ODIs and 15 test matches. He has an impressive average of 24.22 with an economy of 4.56 and a strike rate of 31.8 in ODIS. Recently questions were raised for dropping him in the on going series.
