How many times has it happened that you visited a news website to track something very newsy or important and ended up getting dating requests pop-ups or online shopping offers? Enabling the computer to bar unwanted advertisements has become a ground rule for those who usually look for news across the new media.

Revenue generation is never a bad idea and ads as we know bring in the moola. Only the ads annoy a reader to such an extent that by the time you actually spot what you were looking for, you are plenty riled up having dealt with rollover-to-close over and over again. Sounds familiar?
