3 Workers Killed After Fire Breaks Out At Fireworks Factory In Tamil Nadu

Three workers were killed today after a fire broke out at a fireworks factory at Naranapuram in the district, police said.

Three others trapped in the factory were rescued by fire and rescue services personnel, who are trying to bring the blaze under control, they said.

Police said the fire spread quickly owing to extreme heat conditions and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.

The injured have been admitted to the Sivakasi government hospital.
