Padmanabh Singh is the great grandson of Sawai Man Singh II, the last ruling king of Jaipur, and is every bit the royalty the Maharaja is remembered for.
He has the poise and grace befitting a royal child, but also the empathy of a young prince.
He recently made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, which also includes the likes of actor Anushka Sharma, badminton star PV Sindhu and cricketer Smriti Mandhana.
Padmanabh was given the spot for his efforts towards reviving the sport of Polo in the country, at, mind you, 19 years of age!
Despite having all the luxuries money can afford, Padmanabh sought for something bigger since a young age and at 13, was already participating in Polo games.
He went on to become the captain of the Indian side that competed against England for the first time in over 6 decades.
Apart from this, he is the youngest Indian member of a World Cup polo team and the youngest winner of the Indian Open Polo Cup.
And as if this wasn’t enough, he also has the distinction of playing alongside Prince William and Prince Harry.
Padmanabh Singh is not your regular royal. Apart from his love for sports, he also likes travelling and hits the road whenever he can.
And travels in ‘regular’ cars.
He is a good dancer and was recently in the news for his performance with Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe at the le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.
But there are certain things that you can’t dissociate from a royal.
Like how he celebrated his 18th birthday.
And this was his entourage.
And this is his house!
He has the charm of an old school Bollywood hero.
And the heart of a leader.
Padmanabh Singh is the king of our dreams, quite literally.
