How often have we witnessed parliament sessions being disrupted by the Members of Parliament? Stars in the Delhi sky are fewer… Well, not that there are many stars visible, but you get the drift.
We can’t really imagine what the speaker must go through during the assembly, what with all the MPs shouting at the top of their lungs and the occasional physical violence too.
And how many times have we witnessed this?
But then, one Reddit user came up with a very clever idea that may help the current speaker, Sumitra Mahajan, and all future speakers get some much-needed control.
According to him, the speaker should actually play the national anthem on the ‘speaker’.
And hopefully, the MPs would then stand in silence and not disrupt or disrespect the words that every Indian sings so proudly.
But the laws inside the parliament session are different. That is how so many fights are not termed as illegal.
But if our MPs respect the country, regardless of the fact that ‘The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971‘, is followed by the parliament or not, they would not disrupt India’s national anthem, would they?
Some people might argue that the anthem may have to be played every 5 minutes or so. But if this works, why not?
