Dogs have always been our faithful friends, ever-so-ready with their cute, little, slobbering faces to lick our sorrows away. Remember the tale of a ferocious dog who saved his human family from a snake attack? Or the one where a canine friend helped out his mate on the railway track till people came to their rescue? There are so may more extraordinary and selfless stories which show us why our furry friends are so special.

If you’re as crazy about dogs as we are, we have some good news for you! There are 8 stray puppies in Mumbai who are looking for a home to call their own.

The pups are about six weeks old.

Look at this one! She’s got such pretty eyes.

Despite protests from some residents of the building where Peggy, the mother, delivered the babies, a few animal lovers managed to house them safely in the lobby.

However, the residents have unanimously come to a decision that the pups need to go as soon as they are old enough to be adopted. And as expected, the pups are growing at supersonic speed and the constant growling has made them hard to manage.

While 3 of them have found a home via World For All NGO, 8 of these babies are still looking for one.

So if you’re a good soul looking for a furry friend and are sure about all the responsibilities of being a dog-parent, then you can drop in an email to Nicole at nicoleanklesaria@hotmail.com or a message to 9967336666. You can also check out this website for more information.

Let’s get these babies a safe haven where they can grow and gnaw at things!
