With more than 50 percent of our population under the age of 25, India is the youngest country in the world today. And the Generation Y comprises of the majority of workforce in companies. This young and dynamic generation, which was born during the initial phase of globalisation and has grown up amidst a technological shift in the country, doesn’t think of a job only as a means of livelihood. They want to grow with the organisation and aren’t ready to settle for anything less than they deserve.

When D Shivkumar, the Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo India, was asked how it was like to work with millennials, he described how this generation has refused to accept the hierarchy for a more flexible work environment and how they passionately embrace their work like something that they’d do voluntarily.
