It’s been 9 years since the last Harry Potter book, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows was released, an enchanting and enthralling novel that ended the war between Voldemort and Harry Potter, once and for all. We understood courage, honesty and friendship in a simpler and more meaningful way through these books and they taught us life lessons that we loved to read and many times, re-read.
For me, it was like a journey that had come to an end. I felt both happy and sad. Happy because that book had formed a part of my life, a friend in a way, that I cherished the most. Sad because I knew, this would be our goodbye, once and for all, and I didn’t know if I was ready to say sayonara.
Little did I know that 9 years later, the same boy in round spectacles, would be back to make me fall in love again.
Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, a play adapted to a book by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, is the story of Harry’s son Albus Severus Potter and his journey at Hogwarts. The book hit the stores on the 31st of July 2016 and since then Harry Potter fans over the world have been going crazy!
Twitter is just a perfect testament for that. I mean, just see it for yourself.
Needless to say, I wanted to get my hands on the book at all costs. But this is what happened when I actually went to a bookstore to buy myself a copy.
Heartbroken, to say the least, I went back home, upset that wasn’t able to get my hands on the book. I tried to see an online store from I could order it from. The problem was, that any online order would at least take a week if not more, to be delivered. This tweet perfectly captured how I was feeling.
So, I wasn’t really happy about having to wait that long to get my hands on the book. Worse, I knew that if I took too long in getting it, my friends, both in the real world and on social media would spoil the book for me. But guess what, I was in for a surprise.
Snapdeal, on the day the book launched, had managed to deliver the book to Potter enthusiasts in 2 hours!
Yeah, you read that right, JUST 2 hours. And for the ones who think I’m lying, here’s proof:
Wow! That’s taking efficiency to a whole new level! As soon as I saw that I couldn’t wait and ordered my copy immediately. You shouldn’t wait either. So place your order on Snapdeal, and get ready to board the Hogwarts Express, all over again!
