The tribe from Sulawesi island celebrates this Ma’nene festival, which literally translates to ‘The Ceremony of Cleaning Corpses’. And, they do exactly what the name suggests!

The villagers exhume their dead, wash and dress them up in fresh clothes and then pose for family photographs.
