Netflix has finally extended operations into Indian shores and the response has been massive. With more people, swaying the “American” way, Netflix has already found many takers in India. 

But doesn’t it add more to the sedentary urban lifestyle that we’ve all fallen prey to?

A study states that watching more than two hours of television a day is linked with higher levels of anxiety, depression and stress.

However, researchers weren’t clear on whether the state of unhappiness or depression leads to more binge watching.

According to the study, people who watched at least two hours of the telly a day, reported more sleep disorders and escalated levels of depression, than those who watched less.
