A.R. Rahman’s Open Letter To India’s Olympic Athletes Is A Motivational Gem Everyone Should Read

A.R. Rahman continues to be a great source of pride for Indians worldwide, smashing musical records and bringing in accolades from all corners of the world. A.R. Rahman is now boosting the morale of athletes who are competing in the Rio Olympics, 2016 in an attempt to bring more glory to India.

Rahman joined Salman Khan as Indian Olympic contingent ambassadors in an event to see off the Indian athletes. He also sang “Koi Humse Jeet Na Paave” in the event to encourage the athletes. He later posted an inspirational post for the Indian contingent. He says –

We are the youngest nation with the youth constituting almost 60% of our population. And more and more youngsters are choosing sport as a career, which is commendable. Initiatives like the National Sports Talent Search Scheme are a step in the right direction.
Once upon a time, I thought that it was an impossible task for an Indian to get an Oscar or a Grammy, but time proved that it was possible and that is a testament for what can be achieved with passion and quality.
