Bikers and bike lovers, listen up! If you’re a part of the cult that follows Royal Enfield in India, here is some exciting news for you. While Classic and Bullet have been a craze amongst us all, Royal Enfield wants to further boost its sale and, well, increase its fan base. Here’s what they have in store for us:
Royal Enfield is all set to launch its 410cc Himalayan Scrambler this November.
It is a single-cylindered motor producing over 28 PS of power and over 32 Nm of torque. The engine is in the final testing & tuning stage.
Also, the engine will get overhead cams which will replace the traditional push rods, resulting in a much more refined engine. And the new motor is expected to revv freely up to 6,500 – 7,000 RPM. This will also get a counter balancer to reduce vibrations.
Rumours are that the price of this beauty would be somewhere between Rs. 1.65 – 1.85 lakh.
This price range is clearly lower than the range of its existing 500cc bikes. They want to keep it below the psychological barrier of 2 lakhs.
