People claim they are afraid to go to Haryana and may miss the opportunity to visit the state because in all honesty there’s nothing that vibrant about the places there.
But as someone who has lived there, I’ll tell you that whatever you’ve heard is correct.
1. Haryana is a crowded place with buffaloes and cows all around the streets.
2. Of course, all we have here is ganne ka khet, chane ka khet ye khet and wo khet.
3. There are barely any street lights and the roads are pitch-dark at night.
4. People here care about their farm animals and ignore each other.
5. Yahan pe sadak bhi hai? Ya only muddy roads?
6. Haryana Roadways are the worst-driven public transport ever.
7. The markets don’t offer brands like other states and mega-cities in India.
8. Haryana has no culture of its own.
9. People here are uncultured and do not behave nicely with outsiders.
10. There are barely any monuments to visit in Haryana.
11. There are no malls in Haryana to hang out with your friends or family.
12. People eat the same Sarso ka saag and makki ki roti every day and have no variety in their food.
13. The night life in this state is dead.
14. Commuting can be a real problem.
15. Lastly, no one follows rules in this uncultured state.
