Hi, Myself Vijay From Queen & This Is My Side Of The Story

Abhijeet Bhatt

Even before you start reading this article, I know one thing.

I know that you all HATE me.

I know you are all disgusted with me for what I did to Rani.

And you know what?

I’m not here to justify my actions.

Nope.

I don’t expect you people to understand.

I’m just here to tell you guys my side of the story.

“We already know it! You’re a dick!” I hear you say. Well, calm down, okay. Let’s all be a little civil here.

Ready?

Okay.

So, I was born in Delhi. My parents were friends with Rani’s parents and one fine day, they decided to take me to their shop.

I saw Rani for the first time there and thought she was kinda cute.

She told me that she was an amazing cook and even offered me some of the sweets she’d made.

#HowSweet

Now what they showed you in the film was that I’d enjoyed eating them.

What they didn’t show in the movie was the severe diarrhea I had after eating them.

For two weeks, I lay dead. As I survived on ORS and coconut water, I cursed the day I’d gone to her shop.

Just a warning. Never ever go to her shop. Please. There’s some serious food adulteration going on there.

Anyway, when I was finally strong enough to move, I remembered that Rani was actually kind of cute.

So, being the gentleman that I was, I started stalking her.

You must remember how hard I was trying.

I freaking tied balloons to my scooter. How do you think that made me look?

I took her out for dinners.

Even though her useless brother tagged along, I bore with it.

Literally, bore (to death) with it.

I finally got to know her.

And that’s when I realized, that I just couldn’t marry her.

You see, I know you guys hate me right now.

But I was the first one to see Rani’s potential.

I suddenly had this realization, that Rani was so in love with me, that she’d stop growing as a person.

Which is why, I had to make the tough decision to let her go.

Trust me, it broke my heart into a million pieces.

In cases like these, I always say, that you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.

Okay, that was from The Dark Knight.

But you get the idea, right?

You think I’m the one who broke her heart.

You think I’m the one who broke her trust.

But look at what she became after that?

You think all that was a co-incidence?

Nope. It was all planned by me.

Even so many months later, I knew that she still had feelings for me. Which is why, I went to her once again, just to make her hate me even more.

Man, I remember crying so hard after coming back home.

If there was anybody who was left heartbroken, it was me. Trust me, it wasn’t easy for me to let go. I almost went crazy.

I was in so much pain and shock, that my friend Vikramaditya Motwane shot my despair and then released the footage as Trapped in 2016.

But I was really happy for Rani.

Do I still love her?

Well, I do.

I did Raabta only so her Simran did better business.

I hope that answers your question.
