These Parody Accounts Of Famous Cricketers Are So Funny, You’ll Wish They Were Real

The T20 Cricket World Cup 2016 is getting more and more intense with every day and Twitter doesn’t fail to provide the much-needed comic relief in times of distress.

For every last ball thriller India is involved in, there’s a tweet like this:

And for every Hardik Pandya ball, there’s this:

But Twitter’s best contribution, by far, to Cricket are the fake accounts of famous cricketers.

Now these aren’t your regular match-analysis tweets, these are the tweets that you’d think famous cricketers would tweet after half a bottle of whiskey.

So here are a few hilarious tweets by fake accounts of famous cricketers:

1. @Trendulkar

Disclaimer: While this is not a direct parody account, Trendulkar is known for poking fun at cricketers in the most unforgiving way.

On match-fixing:

On India’s batting openers:

Sometimes India gives free runs and other times, America does.

Lala is a match-winner, for another team.

2. @SirJadeja

If that doesn’t get one to perform, I don’t know what will.

*Plays “Solah baras ki baali umar ko salaam” on loop*

Nasty Twitter is the best Twitter.

3. @SirIshantSharma

*Burn*

Ouch!

4. @NasirJamshed_

Laughed harder than I should have.

Sincerely hoping Bumrah doesn’t read this before a match.

5. @notdavidwarner

Lala: Pakistan’s Joey Tribbiani. Refuses to grow old.

Turns out Warner’s as good at acting as he is on the off side.

*I knew you were trouble when you walked in… trouble trouble.*

*Tries not to cry*

6. @imno45

Comparison to Ajit Agarkar. A new low for Pakistan.

Again, hoping Rohit Sharma doesn’t read any of this before a match.

Keep ’em coming, Twitter. Because Cricket isn’t complete till someone tweets nasty stuff about the players.
