There is no doubt that Avengers: Endgame hit phenomenal success at the box office. Even though the movie was the perfect way to end the Marvel Infinity Saga, it had a ton of heartbreaking moments that the fans didn’t see coming.

One of those saddening moments was the agonizing death of Marvel’s first female superhero Black Widow on Vormir.

But guess it was not as easy for the writers of the movie, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely to write her off the film. In fact, in an interview, they mentioned that it was one of the hardest decision for them to kill off Black Widow. Even though her death fit aptly in the middle of the film, they regret the timing of her death.

She [Black Widow] jumps on the grenade. I’m really proud of that moment. I don’t have any regrets. The only regret is that it comes at the end of Act Two. So you can’t really roll around in the grief because we’ve got another hour of movie and we haven’t solved the A-plot problem. So that’s the downside.

So, even though fans couldn’t get a window to grieve for the MCU character since she dies in the middle of the movie, they still have a reason to rejoice.
Natasha AKA Scarlet Johansson is all geared up to reprise her marvel character as Black Widow’s solo film is set to hit the theatres in May 2020
