‘Wonder Woman’ Is Now DC Movies’ Highest-Grossing Film At The US Box Office

Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot, has become the highest-grossing film of the DC Extended Universe at the US box office with the earnings of $334.9 million (Rs 2100 crore). 

According to a report filed by Hindustan Times, the film directed by Patty Jenkins has surpassed DC Movies like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad with an additional earnings of $4.35 million on Friday. 

Film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad had reportedly earned $330.36 million and $325.1 million respectively throughout their theatrical run in the US.

Wonder Woman may have achieved a milestone domestically. But with a total earnings of $670.68 million worldwide, the film has only gone past Man of Steel, which grossed $668.05 million. It is yet to cross $873.26 million worldwide bench mark set by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
