1. Student Of The Year 2

This film is a sequel to the 2012 film, Student Of The Year and it is one of the biggest franchise of Bollywood starring Tiger Shroff and two new gorgeous ladies- Tara Sutaria and Ananya Pandey. This is a teen film that has everything Bollywood stands for. Its got friendship, sportsmanship, love, drama, dance and companionship. A lot is expected from this film since the prequel did well. The audience is also eagerly waiting for the this new-generation trio to set the stage on fire. So, the wait is on.

2. India’s Most Wanted

Director:  Raj Kumar Gupta

Release Date: 24th May 2019


This is an upcoming action-thriller that is said to be based on true events, starring Arjun Kapoor. It is the untold story of the manhunt for India’s Osama, a savage terrorist who is responsible for over 52 blasts across several cities that killed 433 innocent people and left 810 injured. We don’t know much about this film but the plot is quite intriguing and engaging. We are eagerly waiting to see how this film does in the box office. 

3. Bharat

Director: Ali Abbas Zafar

Release Date: 5th June 2019 


Bharat is an upcoming drama film which is about a journey of a man and the nation together. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patni, Tabu and Jackie Shroff will be seen sharing screen space in this film. The film revolves around Bharat, an 8-year-old boy who makes a life-long promise to his father that he will keep his family together no matter what the circumstances are. That’s all we know about the story-line for now, but we are hoping that this film fares well on the box office, since it has a promising star cast.

4. Kabir Singh 

Director: Sandeep Vanga

Release Date: 21st June 2019


Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer, Kabir Singh, is a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy. This film revolves around a young, impulsive alcoholic surgeon who goes on a self-destructive path after the love of his life is forced to marry another man. It will be interesting to see Shahid Kapoor pull-off this role. The first look of this film promises action, drama, hilarious dialogues and punch lines.

5. Mental Hai Kya 

Director: Prakash Kovelamudi

Release Date: 21st June 2019


Mental Hai Kya is a quirky comedy film, starring two of the finest actors of Bollywood, Rajkumar Rao and Kangana Ranaut. We don’t know much about the plot and story line but it surely will be an interesting one. Rajkumar Rao and Kangana Ranaut have worked together in Queen. So, we are really keeping our fingers crossed.

6. Drive

Drive is an upcoming action thriller film starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Frenandez,  Vikramjeet Virk and Sapna Pabbi. The plot revolves around a stunt driver who starts getting attracted to a gorgeous female neighbour whose husband owes money to a local gangster and is drawn deeper into a dangerous underworld. Right now, that’s all we know about the film but hopefully it will be as exciting as it sounds.

7. Jabariya Jodi

After Hasee Toh Phasi, Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are ready to set the stage on fire with Jabriya Jodi which is an upcoming romantic-comedy film. The plot of this film is based on groom kidnappings in Bihar, where the groom is kidnapped to avoid dowry. Well, we have to say that the concept is quite unique and the actors are also promising. Now, all we have to do is wait patiently and see how the film turns out to be since there are huge expectations with this film.

8. Arjun Patiala

Arjun Patiala stars Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma in the lead roles. It is a romantic-comedy cop spoof film that is about a crime journalist and a quirky small-town cop. We don’t know much about the plot but by the looks of it, this film should be a light-hearted, fun, cheerful comedy. The star cast is also promising so, lets hope for the best.

Super 30 is a biographical film that is based on the life of Anand Kumar, a mathematics genius from a modest family in Bihar. He is on a journey to prove that even a poor man like him can create the world’s most genius minds. He starts a training program that is aimed at helping IIT aspirants crack the entrance test. It stars some of the finest actors of Bollywood including, Hrithik Roshan and Pankaj Tripathi. The plot is undoubtedly interesting, captivating and fascinating so, lets hope this film does well on the box office. Originally, this film was first being directed by Vikas Bahl but after Me Too allegations, Anurag Kashyap has taken over.

10. Batla House

John Abraham starrer, Batla House is an upcoming action thriller film that is based on the encounter case that took place on 19th September 2008, against Indian Mujahideen terrorists in Batla House locality. John Abraham will portray the role inspired by Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, a decorated cop who led the Batla House encounter. We are hoping the film manages to enlighten us about the incident and captivate us with its story.

11. Mission Mangal

Mission Mangal is a multi-starrer film based on true events of the ISRO successfully launching the Mars Orbiter Mission, which marked India’s first inter-planetray expedition. It stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi and Sonakshi Sinha. There are high expectations from this film since it is one of the first Bollywood films that is based on ISRO’s expedition into space. We hope the film will be as good as the star cast.

Chhichhore is an upcoming romantic comedy-drama film, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor. We don’t know much about the plot except the fact that this quirky entertainer is reportedly set against the backdrop of an engineering college. Sushant and Shraddha will be sharing screen space together for the first time. Right now, the first-look poster looks promising and exciting so let’s hope we can say the same for the film as well.

The film stars Rajkumar Rao, Mouni Roy and Boman Irani. The story line seems interesting and delightful. It will be fun to see Rajkumar and Mouni Roy together as a pair for the first time.

This is an upcoming romantic-comedy film starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. The film revolves around a couple who is trying to conceive a baby. It is supposed to be a laugh riot family drama that will leave you in splits. The star cast is pretty interesting and the plot seems fun too. It will be fun to see Akshay Kumar and Kareen Kapoor together, as a couple after nine years.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl is supposed to be a romantic comedy film. We are unsure of what the plot or story line of this film is but we hope it will be something new and original. Both the leading actors are talented and they have made their mark in Bollywood. This will be the first time that will see them together, as a couple on-screen.

16. Street Dancer

Release Date: 8th November 2019


Street Dancer, also known as Street Dancer 3D, is an upcoming dance film that stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhu Deva. The story is based on the lives of street dancers. It is a sequel to the 2013 film, ABCD. The first two parts of this film were highly engaging and entertaining. Their dance routines were mind-blowing and the songs were catchy too.

17. Sky Is Pink

Sky is Pink is an upcoming biographical film that is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. The film stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in lead role. We will get to see Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra portray the role of parents for the first time. The filming was completed in March 2019 and we are eagerly waiting for its release.

Panipat is an upcoming historical period film that is based on the third battle of Panipat which took place on 14th January 1761 between the King of Afghanistan and the Marathas. It stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. The film has a power-packed star cast and we hope to see dynamic and zestful performances on the silver screen.

Brahmastra is an upcoming fantasy film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. We don’t know much about the plot of this film but it is supposed to be a ‘supernatural romantic fairy tale.’ Alia and Ranbir will be sharing screen space together for the first time which is really exciting because both of them are really versatile actors. This movie is supposed to be a trilogy so lets hope the first part of this film does wonders and breaks all box office records.

Dil Bechara is an upcoming romantic-comedy film that is supposed to be based on author John Green’s 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars, which was also adopted in film as The Fault in Our Stars, in 2014. It stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Saif Ali Khan and debutant Sanjana Sanghi.

21. Marjaavaan

Marjaavaan’s first look poster hints at the film being about a feisty love story. It is a romantic-drama where Sidharth Malhotra will be seen sharing screen space with Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh. It will be exciting to see Riteish Deshmukh play a Dwarf for the first time and we hope the film manages to grab our attention.

22. Zoya Factor

Zoya Factor is an upcoming romantic-comedy film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor. It is a light adaption of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel ‘The Zoya Factor.’ The film is about the Cricket World Cup of 2011 where Dulquer Salmaan will be seen playing the Indian Cricket Team captain and Sonam Kapoor will be seen as an advertising professional who is considered a lucky mascot by the rest of the country and the players of the team.
