These Were The Top 10 Highest-Grossing Bollywood Films At The Box Office In 2019

It’s true, 2019 has been one of the strangest years for Bollywood. We got some great movies like Uri and Article 15. However, it’s the ones that we just can’t believe which made the top-grossing list of the year. Here are the top 10 highest-grossing movies of 2019, from the lowest to highest. 

1. Super 30 – ₹208.93 crore

Based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, the film had an uplifting storyline. Actor Hrithik Roshan was also appreciated for his portrayal of the legendary educator.

2. Chhichhore – ₹212.67 crore

This nostalgic movie starring Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput had viewers reuniting with old friends.

3. Total Dhamaal – ₹228.27 crore

Total Dhamaal grabbed a lot of eyeballs for bringing together the iconic duo, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit on the big screen once again.

4. Gully Boy – ₹238.16 crore

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh came together with Zoya Akhtar to make a film which resounded with every dreamer in India.

5. Housefull 4 – ₹278.78 crore

We’re also quite confused about this movie being on the list but Housefull, just like its predecesors managed to be a box-office hit.

6. Mission Mangal – ₹290.02 crore

This Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar multi-starer based on a real-life story ranked 5th on the list of India’s top-grossing Bollywood movies.

7. Bharat – ₹325.58 crore

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan paired up once again to create a film that didn’t win any praises from critics but made a lot of money.

8. Uri: The Surgical Strike – ₹342.06 crore

This Vicky Kaushal movie won our hearts and was undoubtedly one of the best movies of 2019.

9. Kabir Singh – ₹379.02 crore

This controversial film which was a remake of the Telugu film, Arjun Reddy was ranked second in the highest-grossing Hindi films list.

10. War – ₹474.79 crore

This Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starer didn’t receive any brownie points for its storyline. But the action sequences seem to have made it a lot of money.
