‘Ramayan’ Actor Mukesh Rawal Found Dead On Mumbai Railway Tracks

In an shocking incident, Veteran Gujarati actor Mukesh Rawal best known for his role as ‘Vibhision’ in Ramanand Sagar ‘s Ramayan  found dead near railway tracks in Mumbai.

Reportedly, a train hit him, while he was crossing the railway tracks. He was taken to Dr Babasheb Ambedkar hospital in Kandivali, where he was declared brought dead reported The Times Of India.

Rawal had left on Tuesday morning for his dubbing session of his Gujarati play, his brother further explained the situation to TOI saying “Unfortunately , he forgot his cellphone  at home. At night, the play’s producer called us and said he had not turned up. We started checking with friends and relatives. Around 3pm on Wednesday , we made inquiries with hospitals and police stations. The GRP confirmed that the clothes of a victim found on Kandivali railway racks matched our description.“

With no ID proof, it took a day for the body to be identified, an accidental death case has been registered by Government Railway Police. Incidentally Rawal lost his 18 year son in a train accident too.

Mukesh Rawal last rites were performed last night. Celebrities who had worked with him in the past expressed their grief on twitter.
