Raman Raghav 2.0 Recieves A Standing Ovation At Cannes Film Festival. Here’s The Video

Bollywood’s underrated actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui yet again proved himself as a fine actor at the Cannes Film Festival 2016. The 41-year-old, who plays a psycho killer in Anurag Kashyap’s film, was welcomed with cheers and applause after the screening of the film Raman Raghav 2.0. 

In a clip shared on YouTube, the actor and the director is seen entering the hall amidst an unending applause. 

The thriller film was based on the true story of Raman Raghav who was commonly known as Psycho Raman. He went on a murder spree in Mumbai around the 1960s. Alongside Nawazuddin, Vicky Kaushal, also shares the screen as a police officer. Last year at Cannes film festival, Kaushal’s debut film, Masaan also received a standing ovation after it’s screening.

Raman Raghav 2.0 is set to release on 24th June 2016. Hope it creates the same impact on home ground as well.
