After ‘Newton’ & ‘Trapped’, Rajkummar Rao Is Now Back With An Out & Out Entertainer

The year of the hero from the small town, Rajkummar Rao has had an amazing year with releases like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Newton.

And now with the trailer for his latest film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana just dropping, he’s playing once again…surprise – a boy from a small town in India.

It’s an entirely different matter though that in this trailer, he neither looks cornered like Trapped’s Shaurya. Or the role-playing macho man in Bareilly Ki Barfi’s Pritam Vidrohi.

This one’s a small-town romance, spiced with vendetta in the second half. And it is kinda refreshing to see him finally be a part of a ‘masala’ entertainer after long.
