The blessing of globalization has given Indians access to an unprecedented number of brands and labels which we couldn’t even have dreamed of a couple of decades ago.
A lot of companies rushed in, delighted at the prospect of a new market teeming with potential buyers. But these companies didn’t figure in our penchant for desifying everything we come in contact with. And that includes brand names.
