A recent picture posted by R. Madhavan has caught everyone’s attention for a different reason altogether.
Madhavan shared a long note on Twitter today which responded to a troll objecting to a cross in his family picture. The picture was shared by him on Instagram.
He had shared the picture on 15th August of himself his son and his father in traditional attire. They were seen wearing a janeu as they prepared for puja that day.
The said troll apparently spotted a cross in the background of this picture shared by Madhavan, zoomed it and mentioned,
Why do they have a across in the background?! Is that a Mandir? You just lost my respect. Do you find Hindu Gods in Christian churches? All this is fake drama you did today!
To this troll Madhavan came with a very subtle yet brutal retaliation with a long note on his Twitter account.
I have been taught from my very childhood to maintain my identity with pride but at the same time respect each and every faith, belief and religion. “Yemmaddhamum Samadhum.” (I respect every religion as my own) I hope that my son follows that too.
He talked about how he has been taught to respect every religion and faith and set the matter sraight.
