Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar Returns To Recording Studio After 2-Year Hiatus

Here’s a good news for all Lata Mangeshkar fans. 

The 87-year old legendary singer has returned after a two-year-long break from singing due to her health issues.

According to a Hindustan Times report, Mangeshkar is back to recording with her version of Rama Raksha Strotra. 

The compilation of 38-couplet is devoted to Lord Rama.

The report suggests that the singer has already recorded two couplets. 

“I’ve wanted to sing it for the longest time. Now I am finally doing it…”  the legendary singer told HT.

Lata Mangeshkar has earlier lent her voice for devotional songs in two albums – Ram Ratan Dhan Payo and Ram Shyam Gun Gaan.

The last song sung by Lata Mangeshkar was for a romantic drama film Dunno Y 2… Life Is a Moment in 2015.
