So I recently watched Frozen 2, only to realise that Olaf wasn’t my favourite male character anymore, it was Kristoff.
Disney has finally come out with a male character who doesn’t believe in “protecting ” or “saving” a princess ( Anna in this case) but standing by their side at all times.
Kristoff has stolen our heart by shoving toxic masculinity into a deep dark corner, opening up about his emotions, and by letting Ana fight her own battles:
Twitter is very pleased with him slamming toxic masculinity with his not-so chauvinist gestures:
Kristoff has proved that women and girls of this generation don’t need a prince in the shining armour and they can just be as helpful by letting young girls fight their own battles.
Kristoff is the role model this generation needs.
