The much awaited teaser of Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi dropped after a lot of anticipation.
Kangana Ranaut who is playing the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai has brilliantly portrayed the role.
Rani Lakshmi Bai had fought valiantly against the East India Company to protect the kingdom of Jhansi after her husband’s death.
The teaser starts with the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, who gives a context to the story by explaining the time when the British invaded India.
Kangana Ranuat enters the frame by slashing the British flag with a sword. All throughout the teaser she looks fierce as a warrior.
The palatial sets, detailed war scenes, and royal costumes make it the perfect period drama it is supposed to be.
She is seen owning the role of Jhansi ki Rani in the movie, fighting fiercely with the British.
The movie has been written by the writers of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Baahubali and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi.
After this strong teaser, we hope that the movie lives up to the expectations.
