Here’s How Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films Brought The Best In Cinematic Excellence To Us

The year is ending and my heart is like a golden retriever in a field chasing birds and whatnot. While the gladness of this year-end is washing over all of us, it’ll be wrong to say that only horrible things happened in these 12 months. (Yes, I’m the optimistic one in the group)

While we worked from home and sat through endless video calls, Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films made sure to treat us to fabulous content throughout the year with short films like ‘Call Him Eddy’, a heartwarming story revolving a professional cuddler (someone we all desperately needed back then) and how they go through life with their unusual profession!

There were also gems like ‘The Relationship Manager’ that beautifully captured how painful it is to be “locked down” in one’s pain.

Another stunner of a short film was ‘Devi’, a heart-wrenchingly mesmerising tale of strength, sorrow, and sisterhood.

But hey! The treat to cinematic excellence doesn’t end just there. Because Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films announced the launch of a new power-packed series that is airing on &Pics (11:00 PM) and Zee café (8:30 PM) from 19th Dec’20 to 2nd Jan’21. The series will also be aired on Zee5 starting 26th December 2020.

They have collaborated with the finest personalities in Indian cinema who truly stand for innovation and creativity. Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni, Divya Dutta, Sayani Gupta, Shweta Basu Prasad, Tisca Chopra, Niranjan Iyengar, and Shivani Raghuvanshi shared the stage in a captivating discussion moderated by Mandira Bedi.
