Bollywood actresses are starting to take over Hollywood. Priyanka Chopra is winning awards for her performance in Quantico, Deepika Padukone is shooting for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and Pooja Batra has also grabbed the lead role in the sci-fi film, One Under The Sun.
The latest to join this list is Bollywood actress Preeti Desai. She has been signed on in a lead role for the upcoming HBO series, Gods and Secrets. It’s an action drama that explores the darker ramifications of a world filled with superheroes.
Preeti was earlier seen in the 2010 film Shor in the City. She has also been a model and has walked for almost all the big designers, fashion weeks and appeared on various fashion magazine covers.
The project is being directed by Adi Shankar and Preeti will be starring alongside Denise Richards, Jane Seymour, Kellan Lutz & Jackson Rathbone (of Twilight fame) and RJ Mitte (of Breaking Bad fame).
