Black Mirror Season 4 Finally Has A Release Date & The Episode Trailers Have Left Us Wanting More

It’s been 2 years since the third season of Black Mirror had us all (ironically) hooked to our screens. The wait has been long, and Netflix has been dropping teasers for its latest season.

And now they’ve finally announced that season 4 of the addictive and yet disturbing show will release on December 29. Yep, just in time for us all to ring in a ‘Happy’ new year.

Just like last time, season 4 of Black Mirror will have 6 episodes. Over the last week, Netflix has been dropping episode specific trailers, ranging from a dating app with lifetime prediction for its relationships, to android dogs and mind control child monitoring services. You can check out all 6 episode trailers here:

Arkangel

When a mother fears losing her child more than anything, she turns to technology that controls her daughter.

Crocodile

From what we can make out in this trailer, it looks like an investigator uses a machine to extract people’s actual memories to solve crimes.

Black Museum

A woman takes a tour of a ‘Black Museum’. As the owner says, “If it did something bad, chances are it’s in here.”

Hang The DJ

Join the system to find your perfect match. After all, everything happens for a reason.

Metalhead

Yep, not content with turning everything in our daily lives into a source of suspicion, Netflix now looks like it’s trying to destroy the relationship between humans and dogs.

USS Callister

Yeah, we don’t know what to make of this. But we trust that there will be the usual Black Mirror twist in the end. And the middle. And the beginning. And a couple more in between.

Thank you Netflix, for reminding us to look forward to the new year with even bleaker prospects.
