Banjo’s Trailer Proves Why Riteish Deshmukh Should Stick To Housefull & Masti

Riteish Deshmukh has been a part of various ‘comedy franchises’ like Housefull, Masti & Dhamaal. In his 13-years long career, we’ve usually seen him in multi-star cast films. Of course, there have been exceptions, like in 2012, when he did Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya opposite his now wife, Genelia D’Souza. Or in 2010, when he did Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai.

In his latest movie Banjo, we see Riteish Deshmukh as the lead hero, yet again. This time he plays the banjo for a living and the moment you listen to him speak you know, why we always saw him in those ensemble cast films. His hair, his dialogue delivery and the determination make it look like we’re watching a gag and the actual trailer is yet to arrive.

The film’s look reminds us of Remo’s ABCD, which in itself was a reminder of every dance-off movie, ever. Nargis Fakhri is also present in this film and she ‘discovers’ the banjo band & sets out to turn them into ‘rockstars’ like Jimi Hendrix. Yup, she said that!

This was painful to watch!
