Origami may be a Japanese art, but there is a Spanish artist that has gained mastery over it like no other. Madrid-based full-time musician, Gonzalo Calvo has found a passion in the ancient art of folding paper and while his art explores a variety of themes, he feels especially connected with his work making beautiful little paper animals.

Behold, some of Calvo’s most enchanting creations. And mind you, most of these have been made using no more than one sheet of paper.

Magnificent, right? All that was left was for Calvo to breathe life into these creations. *sigh*
