1. The Midnight Game

No. of players: 1 or more

What you need: A candle, a piece of paper, a pen, match box or a lighter, salt, one pin, a wooden door, and salt.

Burialday

You need to begin this game before midnight. Write your full name – first, middle, and last – on a piece of paper. Add a drop of your blood on the paper and let it soak completely. Turn off all the lights and place the paper in front of the door. Light the candle and place it on top. Knock on the door 22 times with the final knock occurring precisely at 12.00 am. Invite the Midnight Man in by opening the door. Then, Blow out the candle, and close the door again. Relight the candle and start moving around in the house till 3.33 am because the Midnight Man is following you and you can’t let him catch up. If the candle goes out, the Midnight Man is near and you need to relight it within the next 10 seconds. If you are unable to do so enclose yourself in a circle of salt, else you’ll get caught. The game is over at 3.33 am and you can turn the lights on.

Warning:

During the game, use only your own blood, do not turn on the lights, do not use a flashlight, do not go to sleep, or attempt to leave your house, and most importantly do not stop moving.

Wake up at 3.30 am and go to the dark room and be seated on one of the chairs by 3.33 am. Now, keep your eyes focused on the darkest part of the room, and be seated till 4.34 am.
