Harper Lee wrote one of America’s most beloved literary classics, To Kill a Mockingbird, and won the Pulitzer Prize for it. The book was also her debut novel in 1961 but she lived a largely reclusive life for decades. Her long-anticipated second novel, Go Set a Watchman, was published in 2015.
