Even as the courage and power of humanity of the people of Chennai is visible for all to see as they battle floods, there are also several people are going all out to ensure stray animals and pets receive food and shelter as well.

As other incidents of animals finding refuge at various areas in the city emerged, the appreciation for good Samaritans started pouring in.
This snake managed to find refuge in submerged Perumal temple. Other stray animals in Chennai need divine intervention too.
